West Ada School District facilities levy to be voted on Tuesday

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) A West Ada School District Plant Facilities Levy will be voted on by residents Tuesday. If passed, thedistrict would be able to move forward with a number of facility improvement projects.

A West Ada School District Plant Facilities Levy will be voted on by residents Tuesday. If passed, thedistrict would be able to move forward with a number of facility improvement projects.

A list of these projects can be found below:

  • Barbara Morgan STEM Academy, Eagle High School, Meridian Elementary School and Ustick Elementary will receive renovations, each costing $15 million
  • Construction of a new Career and Technical Education Center will be built next to Owyhee High School and is estimated to cost $100 million. The center will be completed in Fall 2025.
  • Centennial High School will receive renovations costing $52 million.
  • Lake Hazel Elementary School, Lake Hazel Middle School and Lowell Scott Middle School will receive renovations costing $20 million.
  • Construction of new North Elementary and South Elementary Schools is estimated to cost $35 million. Completion date for North Elementary is Fall 2024 and South Elementary is Fall 2025.
  • Playground upgrades and accessibility for elementary school sites when an estimated cost of $32 million.
