The September 18, 2023, edition of Monday Night Raw was an enjoyable ride replete with several interesting matchups and segments. In the opening segment, Cody Rhodes made a bold claim that the Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, is far more into Jey Uso than Dominik Mysterio.
The American Nightmare kicked off the red brand and made his way to the ring. As he started to speak about Jey Uso, the NXT North American Champion interrupted him. Dominik Mysterio was welcomed with a roar of boos by the Delta Center crowd this week.
The 26-year-old said that the only thing people need to know is that when Jey Uso joins The Judgment Day, they will be even more dominant than they already are. He added that Mami isn’t on RAW this week due to an injury caused by Nia Jax and that he would dedicate his victory over Rhodes to her. Watch the video below.
Cody Rhodes viciously mocked Dominik Mysterio and said that if he watched last week’s RAW, he would realize that Mami is more interested in Jey Uso than she is in him. As a result, The Modern Day Latino Heat disagreed in a fit of rage and said it isn’t like that, and they are a family.

Kevin Owens confronts Cody Rhodes regarding his decision to bring Jey Uso to RAW
Following Cody Rhodes’ match this week, The Judgment Day tried to attack The American Nightmare. However, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn made the save. Soon enough, Owens confronted Cody over his decision to bring Jey Uso on Monday Night Raw.
The Prize Fighter wanted Rhodes’ to explain why he brought the former Bloodline member to the Red brand after all the bad blood. He further reminded them that Jey Uso is not trustworthy. Moreover, many members of the locker room are enraged at this decision about Jey being part of Raw.
The 38-year-old superstar explained that Jey deserves a second chance. Later, Sami also added that he and Owens headlined WrestleMania 39 because he got a second chance. It will be interesting to see what unfolds in the subsequent weeks, as the former Bloodline member has upset a lot of people in the locker room in the past.
