Draymond Green is back in the headlines as he’s back with his talks and this time we have Ronnie 2K on the receiving end. And, just like the past month, the topic on the heated discussion table is the player’s rating in NBA 2K23 but things are a little too spicy this time. As Draymond Green criticized Ronnie 2K for his reaction on getting called out by Klay Thompson for his 3-PT rating after he won the 3-point challenge along with Stephen Curry at the 2022 NBA Japan Games. Since then the former DPOY who is the defensive expert of the team, and the promoter for the NBA 2K franchise, Ronnie are going against each other on Twitter.
It all started with, Klay Thompson calling out Ronnie 2K in Japan by saying: “It feels great. I might not be able to jump like these young bucks, but I’ll never lose this strap. Ronnie 2k, change my three-point rating right now! Freaking hater.” Klay Thompson’s 3-PT rating at the moment is 88 which is the second best after Stephen Curry, the greatest shooter of all time. But he’s tied with Kevin Durant, Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard. Many also believe he deserves a ranking somewhere near 95 as he’s a splash brother.
But this didn’t really age well with Ronnie 2K who reacting to it threw out an ugly reaction of his and is trolling Klay with his profile picture too. As sharing the video of Klay via his personal Twitter handle he wrote “#RentFree” and got into a feud with Draymond Green. It’s not at all unexpected and shocking that Draymond Green jumped into the conversation and made the beef personal. As he’s known for backing up his teammates, especially the Big Three and is also the biggest trash-talker in the league.
Draymond Green watching Ronnie trying to be the talking mouth went on to humble him by retweeting his tweet. While doing so and calling out the face of the videogame Green wrote: “Ronnie, you promote a video game sir. Stop acting like the old media.” This brought a lot many trolls for everyone involved as fans don’t care for anyone when they come across a beef.
This didn’t slide in well for Ronnie 2K. As he clapped back at Draymond Green and unexpectedly went a little too far away with his response. As he dragged in his podcast and took a fiery shot at him for all his talks. And, while doing so on Twitter he wrote: “Sorry I don’t have a “stimulating” podcast to put this on this morning busy promoting a video game.” It didn’t just end here and it just looks like the start of a beef which can get ugly and real very soon as Green ain’t the one who’ll sit and hear when someone tries to shade him.

Draymond Green didn’t hold back a bit after Ronnie 2K dragged his podcast into the conversation. As after that he did nothing but gave out a straight red warning to him via a tweet, where he wrote: “You do realize your success is dependent up on us right? Slow down, it can get ugly fast!”
Honestly, Draymond Green ain’t wrong with his take and it makes complete sense. But the beef between the three with zero involvement from Klay looks senseless now. As it’s getting extended unnecessarily but again they got their own points and now everyone waits for Ronnie 2K to respond back as they want more of it or maybe the former DPOY registered another Dub leaving him speechless.
