YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren, known for hosting tournaments focused around prominent internet personalities was gearing up to host the ‘Ludwig Super Smash Bros. Invitational’ but to his disappointment, the lead sponsor for the tournament backed out at the last moment.
Even though the Mogul Moves streamer had not given up all of his hope, it was evident that he needed someone to sponsor the event that is set to commence today and concludes a couple of days later. That is when, Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson came to his rescue by offering to be the sponsor the event.
The 27-year old YouTuber, who stated that the Smash tournament brought him to the the content creation scenario, was quick to acknowledge MrBeast’s contribution. Even though it has not been confirmed whether the duo have joined hands together again, there are rumors that something is up between the two largest YouTube content creators.
Ludwig had taken to Twitter to inform his fans that he is excited to bring back the most stacked ‘melee+ultimate’ tournament but he seemed worried about the whopping amount of money he will be losing due to the negligence of the former sponsor. Luckily, the scenario might be different now.

MrBeast stays a true friend to Ludwig
It is not the first time for Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson to gift something to Ludwig Ahgren, as the prominent YouTuber had once given his YouTube video worth $1 million to the streamer so that he could earn the publishing rights. The duo has also shared fun banter with each other several times, as the streamer revealed that he was the first person to ‘lose’ money after meeting Jimmy.

But at times of need, MrBeast always has an extended hand for him. As for Ludwig, he had recently announced his creative agency ‘Offbrand’ to bring content creators on board and assist them in creating the best content possible, it won’t be a surprise if we see MrBeast on his next project.
Ludwig’s Super Smash Bros. invitational will take place from October 21st to 23rd. With a lot of fun game for the participants, the tournament is being hosted at Las Vegas, Nevada with separate ‘melee’ and ‘ultimate’ tournaments that have kept a $30,000 USD prize pool for each category.
