Marta Kristen is a Norwegian-born American actress. She is known for starring as Judy Robinson on the show Lost in Space, and for her roles in the films Beach Blanket Bingo and Terminal Island.
Marta was born in Oslo, to a Finnish mother, Helmi Rusanen, and a German soldier father who was killed during World War II. She spent her early years in an orphanage in Norway, and was adopted in 1949 by a couple from Detroit, Michigan, Bertha and Harold Oliver Soderquist, a professor of education. They renamed her Martha Annalise Soderquist. Her family moved to Los Angeles, California, during her teen years. She was married to Kevin P. Kane, until his death. She has a daughter with her former husband, psychologist Terry Treadwell.
