He has no shot in this league: Rich Eisen goes all-in on Tua Tagovailoas attitude

The Miami Dolphins made some big moves this offseason, from signing star wideout Tyreek Hill to getting RB Raheem Mostert, the team not only improved their overall roster but also retained some of their key pieces. However, the matter of concern was and remains Tua Tagovailoa. Tua’s performance last year was mediocre at best, his arms strength is dubbed to be non-existent across the league as he is not the best at throwing deep passes down the lane.

The quarterback’s health is also an issue as his unavailability has been a major concern, especially considering that Miami is looking at him with the intention of making him a franchise quarterback. Earlier this offseason when the minicamp started, the Miami Dolphins posted a tweet that had Tua throwing a deep ball to Tyreek Hill but in that video, the ball was underthrown a bit and Hill had to slow down to catch it, which led to a lot of critics trolling him. Tua had a strong response in his latest minicamp interview.

“He had one great throw for Alabama one time”: Rich Eisen on Tua Tagovailoa

Rich Eisen reacted to Tua Tagovailoa’s latest response to the haters in a minicamp where he said, “For me, it’s just zone that out, we come out to practice, and everyone else, Twitter warriors, keyboard warriors whatever you want to call them, they’re not with us practicing hard.” Tua went on to flex one of his throws to Tyreek in the latest practice session and he brushed off all the hate he’s getting as well.

Eisen thinks that Tua is not the guy for the Dolphins. “There is no gray area with Tua, you either think he has no shot in this league, he’s just a guy who happened to have one great throw for Alabama one time and then one season where he wasn’t the same guy when he got hurt. He had the Dolphins at hello.” Eisen believes there is also a bunch of the population that believes in him big time, “There’s the other end where you love him no matter what because you love who he is, you love what he stands for, you love the inside, and you ignore the film.”

Clearly, the Tyreek Hill underthrown video did Tua more harm than good but reacting to his latest reaction to his haters, Rich believes that it is the perfect reply, Tua’s attitude had all of us in shock as we have never seen this side of him, “SALTY TUA, I like the salt in your diet Tua, more salt in the diet, will serve everyone!” Eisen exclaims. Tua with his chest out and all hyped up reacting and standing up to all the critics is exactly the kind of QB he needs to be, he has always been perceived as soft because he’s not been this fiery ever.

Rich Eisen believes that maybe a new coach has Tua all confident. Mike McDaniel probably gave Tua all the liberty to be his full original self and not care about what the critics have to say. Whatever be the case, SALTY TUA is someone we would love to see make a regular appearance during the pressers. Tell us what your first reaction to Salty Tua was!
