Logan Paul was really a smart man to dodge a sparring session with Khamzat Chimaev at the All Stars Gym in Sweden. The UFC superstar talks about the time a YouTube sensation visited his gym and decided to train there.
Logan Paul is a man of many talents. The YouTube sensation has made a career out of YouTube, Boxing, and now WWE. The Paul brother is a worldwide superstar at this point but Chimaev sure did not have any idea who he was when he paid a visit to the All-Stars gym in Sweden. Looks like Logan was traveling the world and training for his fight against Floyd Mayweather at the time.
The All-Stars gym in Sweden is the home to UFC icons like Khamzat and Alexander Gustaffson, both of who are in a similar weight class as Logan. In a recent appearance on The MMA Hour, Chimaev talks about seeing Paul in his gym and noticed that the boxer turned down an opportunity to spar “Borz”. Logan has also talked about this incident but seemed to have missed out on some details about his experience.
“I went to Sweden and trained for a couple of weeks. I went to this gym and I looked over and this guy was staring at me,” said Paul during his appearance on the MMA Hour talking to Ariel Helwani. Logan sure was smart to not take on the guy that was mean-mugging him at the gym.

Khamzat Chimaev is down to fight both the Paul brothers down the line
“I didn’t train with him. He was on the same mat. He was there and did it with an amateur guy. He didn’t want to spar with me or other guys who were professional. He chose a guy who was an amateur and even with him he did 50/50 on the sparring and he left after that,” said Khamzat talking to Ariel Helwani on his appearance on The MMA Hour show.
Khamzat was unaware of who Logan was when he met him at All-Stars. “I didn’t know who he was,” said Khamzat. The UFC welterweight/middleweight has the sky as his limit. He wouldn’t mind boxing the Paul brothers in the ring and making some money. The fighter’s “Smash Everybody” applies to boxers like Logan and Jake too apparently. Chimaev has previously called out both the fighters to a boxing match when Jake was notoriously calling out MMA fighters to box him. We haven’t heard a lot from Jake since Khamzat was down to fight him.
